What are HIDDEN MICKEYS Magic Kingdom?
A Hidden Mickey is a “loose interpretation of the classic three-ring Mickey Mouse logo, made from whatever material is on hand, and then hidden somewhere in plain sight”.
These camouflaged images of Mickey Mouse are a fun addition to the parks for both regular visitors in the know, AND as a surprise for unsuspecting park guests.

Where can you find Hidden Mickeys in Magic Kingdom?
You might a Hidden Mickey in Magic Kingdom:
- in amongst the natural landscape of a streetscape
- in the shape of a garden, or in the garden bed
- somewhere in the styling of a ride – while you queue, or throughout the ride itself, or on the exit walk on rides such as Space Mountain, it’s a small world, and Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover.
- up close and personal in a shopfront window
- somewhere in the seating arrangement, or creation of a seat
- in a steel gate design, door frame, or window
- in ride or shop signage
- in a seemingly random layout of “tools” in a window or ride theming
- in a food sample display
- or anywhere that a Disney Parks designer thinks would be a top spot to hide a Mickey insignia.
Most people have no idea about this little insider’s joke.
Some lucky people stumble upon a Hidden Mickey, and wonder if it’s supposed to be there, or if they are imagining it.
But it’s a real thing.
