Featured Cities - UK with Kids
London is one of our favourite cities to visit with kids. Most families stick close to the centre, but you don't have to go far by the tube or train to find more unique, epic, amazing SUPER DOOPER FUN things for kids and families.
One of our favourites is Stratford - it's home to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home of TWO amazing playgrounds, a pocket of sideshow-alley style rides, a GIANT Westfield shopping centre, and the best place for kids in London - Discover, Children's Story Centre. (Don't miss it!)
Buckingham Palace, Kensington Gardens, and Covent Garden are wonderful to look at, but the hoards of tourists make it less appealing for kids. Our tip is to dig a little deeper and save your precious time for those less touristy, but just as amazing, spots. London has plenty!
If you are visiting London, there's a good chance that someday you'll want to take advantage of London's close proximity to two of the world's greatest cities - Paris and Rome.
We've started to gather some of our favourite kid-friendly places to visit in Paris and Rome. Take a peek!

INSIDE: Pleasure Gardens Adventure Playground Olympic Park. We were on a mission to find Tumbling Bay playground at Olympic Park. First, we stumbled upon the Waterworks Fountain, with 195 jets of water in a labyrinth shape. Ned dodged the streams but the toddler drenched his only pair of shoes! Second, the Vintage Rides caught our […]

Diana Memorial Pirate Ship Playground. Updated 2018. You’ll hear the twinkling of musical chimes and bucketloads of children’s laughter before you catch a glimpse of the Princess Diana Playground in Hyde Park. And then you’ll spy it. Victorian Toys, Pollocks Toy Museum. Updated 2018. A visit to Pollock’s British Toy Museum is a modern-day stroll into a place not unlike that mystical street from Harry Potter, Diagon Alley. It’s whimsical, weird, and wonderful all in one. Housed in a pair of fabulously creaky and theatrical Georgian town houses in London’s Fitzrovia, the […]
